Makinde expresses confidence in PDP’s unity, says Party poised for 2027 victory
The Oyo State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde has expressed confidence in the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) ability to resolve its internal issues, saying that the party will form the next government at the federal level in 2027.
The Governor stated this during a gala night event held in honor of the PDP governors ahead of their meeting slated for Ibadan the state Capital.
Governor Seyi Makinde, commended the commitment of the PDP governors and expressed optimism about the PDP forming the next government at the federal level in 2027 stressing that the governors presence showcased their dedication and love for the party.
In his address the Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, Senator Bala Mohammed, emphasized the party's unity stating that the primary purpose of their gathering in Ibadan is to discuss strategies for strengthening the party.
While commending Governor Seyi Makinde and fellow PDP governors for their notable achievements recorded in their respective states, Senator Bala Muhammed, expressed confidence that PDP is dedicated to providing a platform that will propel Nigeria to an unparalleled success.
In attendance were the forum’s Chairman and Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Muhammed, Ahmad Fintiri of Adamawa State, Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State, represented by his deputy, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, Senator Douye Diri of Bayelsa State and Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State Rep by his Deputy, Monday Onyeme.
Others include Dr Ndubusi Mbah of Enugu State, Senator Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Barrister Caleb Mutgwang of Plateau State, Dr Agbu Kefas of Taraba State and Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State.
